Devon Brass Ensemble is reknowned for the quality of its events. Devon Brass have regularly promoted their own concerts in Exeter, Tavistock, Horrabridge, Topsham, and have provided music for concerts in Bodmin, Bridgwater, Bristol, Buddleigh Salterton, Chagford, Dartington, Fowey, Minehead, Plymouth, Truro, Taunton, Tavistock and Tiverton.
In 2009, Devon Brass are mounting a concert in Topsham that will use the Exeter singers choir and a brass quintet. It will feature music by masters of Renaissance music such as Lotti, and Farnaby, as well as modern music by Joplin, Handy, Gershwin, and Dukas. Brass and choir will alternate, then come together for the choir to be accompanied by the Brass. In this pleasant church on a summer's evening, this will be a delightful evening.
